The Independent has listed the Viners Studio 18/10 16 Piece Cutlery Set as one of their favourite cutlery sets.
The newspaper explains "This is a quality set featuring interesting ridged handles designed by Gerald Benney back in the 60s. The design was one of the first to be produced by Viners and has certainly stood up to the passage of time. Comfortable to use as the bark effect makes for a good grip, and with a 50-year guarantee – you know you’re getting top-quality cutlery."
After reviewing nine top quality cutlery sets the Independents final verdict left the Viners Studio range at the top of the charts "Anything from the top-quality range from Robert Welch is worth considering, but our favourite, for old time’s sake, was Viners’ Studio 18.10 set. The retro-yet-modern feel of it was a real talking point at the dinner table, with oldies reminiscing about wedding present cutlery and young ones loving the crinkly textured handles."
